Lois Alan is a friendly ambivert who is always curious and gets way too excited about new socks. She prefers sitting in the front row of roller coasters and loves to make people laugh. But she also appreciates deep conversations, especially about creation, eternity, and anything philosophical.
She is a US Navy veteran (CTM2) and a veteran home-school teacher, and equally proud of both. She plays electric guitar and has written several rock songs.
A compilation book with her short story, “The Angel in the Green Parka,” is now available.
Beta readers loved her first novel, My Name is Julia, and she is looking forward to seeing it in print when the timing is right.
She’s currently drafting a new crime suspense novel, Up North, and is staying busy researching everything she can about police procedures. Register for her newsletter, and you’ll get a sneak peek of the first chapter & a link to the video of her getting Tased at the Citizen’s Police Academy.
