“The Angel in the Green Parka”
A short story
“Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” Hebrews 1:14 (NIV)
A personal note from Lois:
A few weeks after our family moved into a new house, my husband got orders to Qatar. As a Navy veteran, I understood the importance of supporting my husband, a Navy Chief, during his deployment. But I also understood the importance of keeping things normal for our two young daughters. So, the girls and I traveled from Nebraska to Michigan to spend Thanksgiving with my family.
On the way home, just seven days later, we were in a serious car accident that should’ve killed us all. We survived, thanks to our angel in the green parka.
My short story is one of over 50 others included in this book about angel encounters.
